Using the scanner
- Image or camera
- Choose a photo or screenshot, drop it on the box, paste it from the clipboard, or start the live camera. The camera asks for permission first and stops as soon as a code is read.
- Nothing is uploaded
- Images and camera frames are read inside your browser. QRnook has no server that receives them.
- Links stay closed
- A decoded link is shown as text with its destination host. QRnook never opens it for you; you decide after reading it.
- If no code is found
- Crop closer so the whole code and a clear margin are visible, avoid glare and shadows, and try a larger or sharper image. Files up to 25 MB are accepted.
